Server

Hardware and software that provides certain services to client computers over the network can be referred to as “Servers.” Network servers, database servers, and application servers are just some of the examples. Using the network as an interface, servers can provide internal services over the intranet or external services over the Internet; servers equipped with powerful computing capabilities or large amounts of disk storage space can complete a large number of tasks within a short period of time, store large amounts of data, or provide services to a large number of users.
